Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery of artwork. I am a self-taught artist who has received wonderful guidance from some fabulous artists. I have also educated myself through various classes and reading.
A few years ago, my husband and I relocated to College Grove, Tennessee just south of Nashville and are loving our retirement in this beautiful state and specifically the Franklin area. It is magnificent country of which I am inspired daily and strive to bring to my painting.
I discovered my artistic calling later in life after retiring from a successful business career. My extensive business and personal travels around the world have acted as a visual diary, capturing the color, beauty and splendor I have encountered.
About Me
My work is primarily abstract utilizing many tools and media to enhance my process and art product. I begin most often selecting my color palette, of which I am always tremendously excited about, and then randomly marking my canvas or board to warm up. Subsequently, I create many layers which can also include texture.
Beyond my artistic endeavors, I have many interests including loving and riding my amazing horse, Elvis. We have been together for 17 years. I also love to cook, read, immerse myself in music and staying physically and mentally fit. These hobbies complement my artistic practice as they provide continuous inspiration and joy.
I hope you enjoy viewing my art and it would be a pleasure if you would join my email list for notifications of future additions to my work. Thank you.
